Luka is determined to stay in Madrid.
Luka Modric wants to fulfill his contract with Real Madrid, which means he will wear the Los Blancos shirt until June 30, 2021.
It has been reported that the 34-year-old could be playing his last season because of his age, but also the brilliance of Martin Odegaard, seen as the ideal replacement.
But Luka himself has opened the subject under AS and has agreed to stay until the end of the contract even if it will be in the second plan.
He has always said he wants to end his career in Madrid, and perhaps at the age of 35 in 2021, it will be the right time to hang his sneakers after an impressive career where he has won many trophies, including four UEFA Champions League titles.
Luka has been a part of Real since 2012. He has made 333 appearances, scoring 22 goals.
Although at the age of 34, he is enjoying the best season with a Real in terms of goals.
He has scored 5 times in 30 appearances, the best season in Madrid was that of 2012/2013 and 2018/19, with four goals each.
