Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has not liked the comparison that was made with his compatriot, Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud, saying it is just like comparing Formula 1 to Karting.
Benzema was answering various questions during a live social networking session and could not avoid questioning the decision of France’s Didier Deschamps to replace him with Olivier Giroud.
The madrillen striker chose to answer this question with a car racing analogy.
“Don’t confuse Formula 1 with Karting. I’m a Formula One, ”Benzema replied when compared to Giroud.
Benzema was linked to Brazilian legend Ronaldo Nazario, displaying admiration for him as a childhood idol.
“I was talking to my fans and telling them I fell in love with football when I saw you on TV,” Benzema told Ronaldo.
“For me, you are the best. They said Zinedine Zidane too, but I told you, “he added.
