The legal adviser of Mauro Icardi believes the Inter striker ‘has a desire’ to stay at Paris Saint-Germain and that Leonardo ‘wants to keep him’.
It was reported that Icardi would return to Inter at the end of the season, with PSG not using the opportunity to buy him for 70 million euros.
But, Letterio Pino is convinced that the Argentine will continue to play for the Ligue 1 team next season.
“Leonardo knew what Mauro would give during the season,” he told Radio Kiss Kiss.
“He didn’t play in some Champions League games, but that was only because there were 18 other very good players at PSG.”
“In my opinion, Leonardo wants to keep him and I hope PSG will do the same. That’s definitely the idea.”
The 27-year-old has scored 20 goals in 31 appearances for Paris before the season was suspended.
