Cafu: Messi is also behind Neymar for technical skills

Former Brazilian legendary defender Cafu believes Paris Saint-Germain striker Neymari is the most talented footballer on the planet. And even says Barcelona captain Lionel Messi is behind the Brazilian in terms of technical skills on the playing field.

Neymar, who was originally transferred to Barcelona from Santos because of his natural talent, has now built his reputation as one of the most creative footballers in the world.

The Brazilian star himself has admitted that, for him, football is a form of entertainment and that he rarely decides not to use the opportunities during matches to make different tricks on the playing field.

The same can be said of a number of other players, such as six-time Golden Ball winner Lionel Messin. However, Cafu thinks his compatriot is at a different level than other players.

“Technically, Neymar is the best footballer in the world,” the former world champion with the Brazil national team said in an interview with Fox Sports.

“Today, technically, no one can beat Neymar. Neither Messi, though I’m a big fan of him. But Messi cannot surpass Neymar in terms of technical quality.

But while Cafu praised Neymar for his talent, he said the PSG star should work on his leadership.
