Marco Reus has ruled out any possibility of a move to Bayern Munich. Insisting he would never be able to join the Bavarian giants because his heart beats only for Borussia Dortmund.

The 30-year-old has been rumored to be joining Bayern since becoming a Bundesliga superstar with Borussia Monchengladbach and Dortmund.

Reus joined Dortmund from Gladbach in 2012 and now explains that he cannot play for any other German elite league club because of his loyalty to the current club.

“I had an offer from Bayern, as I had from other clubs. “I have the greatest respect for Bayern Munich and for what it has achieved as a club over the decades,” Reus told Sport Bild.

“But I’ve always wanted to play for BVB. This has always been the club that my heart loved “, he added.

“When I played in Gladbach, I was clear that in the Bundesliga, I would only play for Dortmund or go abroad,” he said.
